The real difference
It would be an easy story to tell that MacWhisper sends your voice to the cloud and HushQuill does not. It would also be false. MacWhisper's own product page states plainly that transcription happens on-device and nothing leaves the machine by default, with cloud options offered as opt-in extras through your own API keys. HushQuill works the same way. Neither app gets to claim privacy as a point of difference here, and pretending otherwise would be exactly the kind of comparison-page dishonesty this page is trying not to commit.
The actual difference is what each app is built to do all day.
